Indian crane rental company Shethia Erectors & Material Handlers Ltd. has opted for five units Liebherr crawler cranes type LR 1300 W-SX. The deal was officially confirmed during Bauma 2010.

Shethia Erectors & Material Handlers Ltd. came into existence in 1989. The company has emerged from the former Shethia Crane Hiring Services which started in 1968 as a proprietorship firm. Today, the company has a large fleet of more than 50 units of lifting cranes and equipment ranging up to 1100 t lifting capacity. With the purchase of these five units LR 1300 W-SX Shethia Erectors already operates 11 Liebherr crawler cranes. In addition the company has several used Liebherr mobile cranes in its fleet.

The five units LR 1300 have been purchased as LR 1300 W-SX version for all sort of lifting applications and for general purpose use. The SX version of the LR 1300 features a main boom that permits worthwhile increases in both main boom and jib lifting configurations. In addition, all cranes are equipped with a narrow telescopic undercarriage for cost effective travel movements when space on the ground is limited. In addition the company has purchased two derrick equipments. This further enhances the flexibility and universality of the crawler crane fleet for all types of lifting applications.
