A brand new concept involving quick and simple assembly of their compact concrete mixing plants is to be unveiled by Liebherr at the Bauma 2010: the Mobilmix 0.5 is a large-sized category mixing plant featuring an output rate of up to 30 m³ per hour and has been de-signed for mobile operation. Comprising two completely preassembled and fully wired 20´ containers, the plant is assembled and ready for operation in short time.

The containers are hoisted directly from the transport truck onto special supports, allowing the truck to be driven away from underneath. At the same time, these supports act as a framework with which the plant can be moved into its installation position. The skip is si-tuated within the machine container during transport and is subsequently moved into its op-erating position with a hand winch. Compact integration of the water weighers and cement weighers, as well as folding platforms, contribute greatly to restriction of space. These com-ponents are also extremely quickly installed and are immediately ready for operation.

Once the respective application has been concluded, the Mobilmix 0.5 can be dismantled quickly and easily before being transported to the next building site. The two preassembled 20’ container elements are perfectly optimised in its dimensions and can be transported by standard trucks.
