As a highlight for the timber industry, Liebherr is presenting the L 580 2plus2 LogHandler wheel loader at the 2010 ‘Bauma’. It has been specifically developed for the requirements of this industry. A special lift frame enables timber to be picked up at a considerable height. The Liebherr LogHandler is therefore ideal for loading and unloading trucks, feeding material into debarking and sorting plant, picking up material from high stacks and similar tasks.

Liebherr supplies an extensive programme of grabs for the LogHandler. They can all be rotated through 360° and swung forward and back. Together with the wheel loader’s exceptional mobility, efficient work is possible even if only a limited space is available.

For an optimal upward view the L 5802plus2 LogHandler has a spacious, ergonomically designed cabin with an additional roof skylight. Protective grilles for the windscreen and skylight are standard equipment on the LogHandler. Liebherr’s well-proven single-lever control system makes it easy to work safely and without risk of fatigue.
