An innovative and practical range of truck mixers is to be unveiled by Liebherr at the Bauma 2010. This will include an extremely light version, as well as a special design configured for particularly rugged applications.

Weighing 800 kg less than the standard version, the re-engineered „Lightweight“ version is already available for purchase on the market. Several diverse modifications were undertaken on the bodywork of the HTM 904 „Lightweight“ to drastically reduce the weight. The tried and tested 4mm spiral plates were also used for the „Lightweight“ version to ensure that life-expectancy of the equipment would not be compromised. Combined with a lightweight chassis, this truck mixer is easily capable of transporting 8 m³ of concrete with 32 tons permissible overall weight.

The Liebherr „Longlife“ truck mixer variant is also currently available for applications in particularly tough operating conditions. Thicker plates have been applied to the spirals using reinforced weld seams to guarantee extensive life-expectancies, even in the most extreme applications. This variant is particularly practical when using exceptionally hard and broken stone for the concrete.
