The new Liebherr A 900 Compact Litronic Wheeled Excavator will have its world premiere at the 2010 ‘Bauma’. A compact design, it is ideal for difficult tasks where space is limited, and its exceptional performance data make it suitable for classic earthmoving tasks as well.

Attractively styled, this new 18-t excavator promotes safety for the operator and everyone in the working area, especially where there is little room to manoeuvre. The short tail swing radius of 1,850 mm reduces the size of the risk area behind the excavator.

The A 900 Compact Litronic is powered by the new Liebherr D834 diesel engine, with a rated output of 100 kW (134 hp). Ample engine size, high torque and maximum output at a low engine speed are characteristics that match construction machinery needs. Large maintenance hoods provide direct ground-level access for servicing work with no loss of time.

The cab of the A 900 Compact Litronic is a new development. The largest in this machine category, it provides the space, comfort and convenience the operator needs for concentrated work without risk of fatigue.
