A Liebherr rotary drilling rig, type LB 20, was used to produce foundations for pylons in Aschaffenburg, Germany. The LB 20 is a very compact and efficient rotary drilling rig equipped with a 200 kNm Kelly drilling drive, type BA 200. In Aschaffenburg the LB 20 installed foundation piles with 880 mm diameter and 17.5 m length below groundwater level.
