Succeeding the proven T 282 B, the new T 282 C ultra-class mining truck offers optimum reliability and availability. This 400-ton truck utilizes the most current technologies in components and software to minimize the overall cost of ownership and maximize productivity.

The new T 282 C incorporates increased vertical integration of components. Liebherr utilizes proprietary components in strategic areas, specifically developed to serve the needs of the mining industry. For the T 282 C mining truck, components developed and built in-house by Liebherr include the Litronic IGBT drive system with frequency inverters and liquid-cooled power modules as well as wheel motors and planetary gear sets.
