The Betomix 2.5: Maximum output and outstanding economic efficiency.
The Betomix 2.5 is the latest model in the successful Betomix series. Featuring a discharge output of 110 m³ of compacted concrete per hour, this plant is ideally suited as a ready-mix concrete plant of medium dimensions.

Design of the largely-dimensioned 2.5 m³ per batch mixer was predominantly based around actual requirements for the transport of concrete in truck mixers. The law in many European countries allows a permissible overall weight of 32 tons over four axles. Four-axle truck mixers are therefore usually filled with 18 tons, which corresponds with 7.5 m³ of concrete. This works out at about three batches per truck mixer for the Betomix 2.5. In countries which do not enforce a restriction on axle loads, in the Middle East for example, truck mixers usually feature 10 m³ drums which will hold four batches from the Betomix 2.5.

The modular design and a large range of options for the Betomix 2.5 guarantee extraordinary flexibility with customised solutions for every application site. In colder regions such as Russia or Scandinavia, heated and insulated Betomix plants can be operated at low temperatures far below freezing point. In hotter regions such as the Gulf where temperatures can soar as high as 50° C, the Betomix can feature flake ice batching, whereby the addition of ice reduces the temperature within the intensive mixer. For applications in the concrete goods and precast units industries the flexible Betomix design allows unproblematic integration in the manufacturing process with utilisation in existing production halls.
As with all plants in the Betomix series, Liebherr offer a multitude of variants for the Betomix 2.5. Loading of the mixer is resulted either via loader elevator or by way of inclined conveyor belt. An inline silo, or with restricted space conditions a round silo, can be used for storage of the aggregates. Up to six different types of cement and filler are available.
