A380 Motor Control Electronics

The Motor Control Electronics (MCE) are mounted directly on the actuator in the wing of the aircraft and position the spoilers when required. The centrepiece is an speed-regulated motor pump unit, which is activated by the power unit of the MCE and thus controls the internal hydraulic flow. Various parameters are monitored by means of integrated sensors and sent to the superordinate flight control computer (FCC)

A380 Electrical Heater Controller

The Electrical Heater Controller (EHC) is used in areas of the aircraft where the air conditioning is inaccessible or ineffective. The EHC reads the temperatures in the cabin and in the heater unit with the connected sensors and regulates the heating unit by a pulse package control.
