The new ‘Bauma’ stand:
More to see. More to try. More to move!
Liebherr has developed a totally new stand concept for its open-air site at the 2010 ‘Bauma’.

Taking ‘All Roads lead to Liebherr’ as its motto, the concept drawn up by architects Kauffmann, Theilig & Partner creates an entirely new Liebherr stand environment. The buildings consist of two slim blocks running the full length of the site.

Since these are raised on columns, the visitor approaching the stand has an unobstructed view across more than 13,500 square metres of display area and the many interesting construction machines exhibited there. The raised buildings also catch the eye of the visitor from some distance away.

Smooth transition between indoor and outdoor areas
The length of the buildings makes it easy to locate each product area near the relevant group of exhibits. The smooth transition between inside and outside, and the ability to position the machines close to the meeting rooms, create a “tribune” effect and emphasise that the products on display are the real stars of the event.
Work started in November 2009
The main milestones in putting the new concept into effect were the start of planning work in August 2008, the signing of contracts in July 2009 and the start of construction work in November 2009. During the 2010 ‘Bauma’ from April 19 to 25, the new stand will enable the Liebherr Group to justify its high reputation and offer its guests “more to see – more to try – more to move”.
